Solar Project Manager to $80k + 10% bonus opportunity, Virginia Highlands area
Are you an experienced Solar Project Manager or Solar Project Developer that enjoys being hands-on and working in an environment with very little red tape? Would you prefer to be a big fish in a small pond and report directly to the CEO of a growing and profitable Solar Field Development company? If the above sounds like you, our client has the immediate need for a full-time permanent Solar Project Manager to join their team.
Our client is located in the Virginia Highlands area of downtown Atlanta. This position will require between 20 and 30% travel mainly to installation sites in South Georgia and the Carolinas. The Solar Project Manager maximizes efficiency in the implementation of detailed project plans, keeping track of goals, tasks, resources, schedules, costs, and contingencies. The Solar Project Manager will coordinate all workers and materials involved in a commercial solar installation project. The Solar Project Manager is responsible for the quality of work, and for keeping a project on time and on budget. The Solar Project Manager will identify opportunities to reduce costs and minimize risk; develop systems to manage safety and quality assurance on site; coordinate installers, technicians, vendors, and subcontractors as well as monitor their work to ensure compliance with specifications, schedules, and budgets. The Solar Project Manager will also provide technical assistance to contractors, and report on progress to owners, project developers, and financial partners.
